Ocean and Necky kayaks have designed a new Venturi style scupper plug, designed to drain water while at the same time preventing it from coming in. Those among us with the wet-butt blues might find such an innovation to be a rather handy addition to our kayaks. These new plugs will fit all necky models and most Ocean Kayak models.  

These are not yet listed on either of their websites, though I doubt it will be long before they are available from kayak dealers worldwide. In between now and then you can read more about them at Kayak Fishing Magazine
