Regatta Secretary Kim Chilton of the Port Macquarie Rowing Club sends a reminder of this years 3 Rivers Mini Marathon, always a big event for mid north central coast kayakers and paddle-happy visitors alike. Thanks for the heads up Danny. Here's the scoop:

Hi Paddlers. This is to notify you that this year’s 3 Rivers Mini Marathon – with major sponsor Essential Energy - will be held on Sunday 28th August. We will once again host a cocktail party the night before (27th) at Crema Espresso Bar in downtown Port Macquarie.
